WASTE TRUCKS AS
Alba Group, a leading global recycling and environmental services company with headquarters in Berlin, developed qualified applications in collaboration with Vialytics, a Stuttgart-based machine learning startup, to turn recycling vehicles into smart sensor platforms. The first application focuses on street-quality (potholes, blockages & weather-condition) and can be extended to be applied to other urban systems.

CITIES FOR THE SEASON 2019 TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON
Smart City Hub has already leveraged a rich network of city representatives in Berlin comprising 30+ mentors and collaborators involved in our program formats ranging from the senates to operational public agencies.
City collaborators provide strategic and operational mentorship with access to data sets and experimentation fields, empowering a city-centric approach to solve urban challenges.
Historically called NUMA DATACITY, Smart City Hub is the next generation of the program specifically designed for the German market, addressing the decentral and multi-facetted economical and smart city environment in the country.
The team behind BIA (formerly NUMA Berlin) conceptualises and facilitates Smart City Hub’s programs. Our legacy program DataCity has facilitated editions in other cities like Paris, Barcelona, Bangalore, Casablanca - and Berlin through BIA.
